Join us at Camp Kent for a DIY holiday centerpiece event! We will be collecting materials from our gardens and the forest, as we prepare for the festivities to come. Each family will receive a beautiful glass jar, as well as a chopped and stained, wooden disk to accent the arrangement. There will be a variety of greens, birch bark pieces, holly berries, pine clippings, ornamental grasses and dried flowers.
SOLD OUT! Learn how to craft a beautiful wreath for the holidays or for the winter season with Iris Weaver! Using fresh greens, foraged dried plant stalks, pine cones, nuts, faux berries and leaves, cinnamon sticks, and more, you’ll create a unique 8″ to 12” wreath during this two-hour workshop. This wreath is a lovely way to bring the energy of the season into your home. All materials will be provided, though we suggest bringing a box to transport your wreath home afterward.
Bring the family to create a 3D car or an origami boat in a bottle. All supplies will be outside and enjoyed during the Annual Car Show in downtown Amesbury in the quiet of the Library programming area. Build, decorate, and enjoy some books about transportation! Celebrate the end of summer with a full day of artmaking! Try out a new technique, find inspiration around the CAM Green campus, and celebrate the process of creating a work of art. Crafting stations will be set up outside and in the Carlson Education Center for visitors of all ages to explore. Make a zine, room décor, card, or gift, or just try your hand at practicing with a new artistic medium. A variety of materials will be available throughout the day while supplies last.

Join this workshop to make a gift for Mom, OR bring Mom along for a fun coastal art-making outing! This program will start with a beach walk to collect coastal treasures, and then we will head inside for crafting. Materials and inspiration provided.
Gloucester Education Foundation hosts the annual Power of Play Festival in Gloucester Massachusetts. A day of hands-on, low-tech play for all ages, hosted by Gloucester Education Foundation and run by a powerhouse team of community and student volunteers.
Bradley Palmer State Park is located at 40 Asbury St. in Topsfield. All programs are free and open to the public. Reasonable accommodations upon request.
