Yoga for Children during February Vacation at North Shore Children's Museum in Peabody Massachusetts

In Miss Shelleys yoga class for kids, the focus is on making the practice fun, interactive, and age-appropriate. The class includes warm-up activities, teaching yoga poses through storytelling and games, and incorporating music, props, and visuals. There are partner poses and group activities to encourage cooperation and teamwork. The class ends with a cool-down segment that includes gentle stretches and relaxation exercises. The overall goal is to promote physical fitness, mindfulness, and emotional well-being in a playful and joyful environment.

Low-Sensory Play at North Shore Children's Museum

Low-Sensory Play at NorthShore Children's Museum in Peabody Massachusetts

Join us for a low-sensory play session. For some children, visiting places like NSCM can be over-stimulating. This special play session will have reduced noise, crowds, and stimulation. While medical diagnosis is not required, we encourage that these limited tickets be used for families with a child on the autism spectrum or with sensory processing disorders. Our capacity will be reduced to 80 people, versus our typical 150. Ticket prices remain the same at $12/person over age 12 months.

The Lego Train Returns to Wenham Museum 2024 during February Vacation Week in Massachusetts

Calling all LEGO fans – we’re excited to welcome the LEGO Train back to the Wenham Museum for a February Vacation Week! Watch a rainbow-colored, L-gauge model train speeding along a brick track as it races by soaring skyscrapers, country cottages, mountainside ski slopes and much more. All features are designed with the highest degree of precision (and a sense of humor!) by the New England LEGO Users Group (NELUG). Some Halloween-themed surprises will be included in this fantastical LEGO display.
