Come to Spencer Peirce Little Farm for a mid-winter open house and bonfire to celebrate the official purchase of the town of Newbury on January 13, 1701. Come visit the 1690 farm house from 3-4pm. Then walk down to the town-sponsored bonfire and enjoy food, beer, wine, hot chocolate and other beverages that will be available for purchase from local vendors. The bonfire is lit around dusk (~4:30pm) Pre-purchase your parking pass for a guaranteed spot in the parking field. Parking pass ticket $20.

Rockport New Years Eve is an annual family-friendly New Year's Eve celebration of the arts in picturesque downtown Rockport, Massachusetts. Halls, churches, town offices, and some streets are taken over by happy revelers celebrating the New Year. Most of the venues are handicap accessible. Admission to most events requires the purchase of an inexpensive button, and a few events are free. Performances include music, dance, puppet shows, magic, and much more. Activities conclude with a midnight ball drop. Children's entertainment wraps up with an early New Year celebration.
Families are invited to the library to come make their own gingerbread house out of graham crackers. Design your own candy wonderland! Registration is required.

Greet Santa as he arrives at Town Wharf on East Street, at the north end end of Water Street, in Ipswich! Come sing carols with Buddy the Elf as we await Santa’s arrival. Jingle your bells and follow our honored guest and Buddy the Elf on a festive “Jingle Bell Walk” along Water Street to the Ipswich Town Hall at 45 Green Street. Keep a sharp eye out for the “Grinch”!
