The Essex Bay Sailing Club is a Non-profit club founded in 2000 reaches out to teach sailing to youngsters in the area surrounding Essex Bay. The goal of the club is to develop sailors who enjoy a strong knowlege of sailing while also learning to appreciate, and protect the beautiful resources of the Essex River.
Join The Trustees of Reservations at Crane Wildlife Refuge on the Crane Estate in search of the Snowy Owl! Wide-open coastal sites are the location of choice for wintering Snowy Owls; common perches are dunes and salt hay staddles. In winters past, the owls have been frequent visitors to the Crane Wildlife Refuge. Join us as we hike the dunes in search of these magnificent birds. Unlike most owls, snowy owls are diurnal (they hunt and are active both day and night) so we have a good chance of sighting one even in the daylight hours!

Calling all boys and girls in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade who love to write! This is your chance to get creative and improve your writing skills with fun activities, including Mad Libs, funny writing prompts, group stories, writing games, and more. This class will be taught by two honors students at Marblehead High School. It will take place on Wednesdays in January, beginning on the 9th, from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

Play Minecraft with other children grades 1-5 (ages 6 and up) Learn new tricks from each other and explore and build in a world together. This group is for children in grades 1 and up. Due to our child safety policy, at least one parent per session will need to volunteer to stay in the room the entire time of the program, from 3:30-4:30.
