Come join Pathways for Children for a morning full of group games, physical activities, team building, fitness and games that are just plain ole fun. Knucklebones of Cambridge will bring the gear - all you need to bring is yourself and be ready for some active fun! Activities are geared for children aged 3-8.
Jump start your new year with a sampling of group exercise classes. Classes include Zumba, Escape Fitness, Y- Cycle, and more. Take half hour blocks of each and figure out what works best for you! Great for beginners!
This summer, stretch, jump, and move your body on the lawn of the Cape Ann Museum Green with instructors from MAGMA. After the workshop, grab some free art supplies from CAM’s Art Cart or try your hand at a self-portrait for Community Portrait Project. Make a day out of it by bringing your lunch and picnicking on the Green while you make art!

Salute the United States Armed Forces at the Wenham Museum’s Military History Day. Uniformed members of the Living History Association will be on the museum’s lawn available to answer questions, show memorabilia from the Civil War through WWII, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the beginning of WWI and help you explore inside antique military vehicles.

This free event will celebrate the environment, and build connections to our natural world by offering family-friendly activities. The Maker Lounge is dedicated to creativity and innovation through hands-on exploration with technology, materials and ideas. It builds on PEM's tradition of bringing together new and inspiring objects from around the world and celebrating creative expression through human ingenuity. Tackle a design challenge or tinker with all kinds of materials from circuits to cardboard saws. Both energizing and relaxing, the space has music, iPads and universal phone chargers.
Sawyer Free Library and the Cape Ann Museum invite families to a presentation on personal family history. Learn how to use family records to research your own family and history and learn what life was like for your ancestors! Children will see examples of old-fashioned Cape Ann Samplers and family trees, and then create their very own sampler, and paint their own family tree.
The American Textile History Museum in Lowell is having a free, educational and fun experience for adults and kids, celebrating the intersection of invention and creativity! In collaboration with our two new special exhibits, “Inventing Lowell” and “Flowers in the Factory,” on view through June 22.
