Amesbury

The Amesbury Memorial Day Ceremonies is organized by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2016 and will start at 9:00 AM at Alliance Park where a wreath will be thrown into the Merrimac River in memory of deceased Marines and Sailors. From there veterans will gather and place wreaths at the VFW Cemetery plot in Union Cemetery, then to the Amesbury Doughboy and Justin Park, and then to the Polish War Memorial on Market Street.

Amesbury Public Library invites teens to join Cassandra for a fun drop-in activity each week. Come by to create a craft or play board games or just to chat if you don't want to do a project. This is an hour for teens! No registration is required so come by after school on Mondays this winter to relax and have some fun!

Spend your vacation week visiting another world (at Amesbury Public Library)! This program is a self contained quest and so you can come if you've never played D&D or a roleplaying game before  or if you are a huge fan (and meet some other fans)! This session is for kids aged 7-10.

Come to Flatbread Pizza - Georgetown for great wood-fired, home-made flatbread pizza and help the Friends of the Amesbury Public Library raise funds for their programs! A portion of all pizza sales will be donated to the Friends. Dine in or take-out, join us for our Friends' Flatbread Fundraiser and 50/50 raffle!
