Join us on Saturdays this summer for live music from local bands during our Farmhouse Wood-Fired at Appleton Farms. Grab a pizza and beer and a spot on the lawn while enjoying the music and the perfect pizza picnic on the farm. On days with special events, such as our Farmers Markets, Local Beer Tasting and Octoberfest weekend, we will have two bands on Saturdays, 12-2 and 3-5.

As part of COASTSWEEP Beach Cleanup, volunteers are encouraged to help in the statewide effort to keep our coastline clean along the shore in Beverly Massachusetts. Trash collected will be measured and analyzed, and the data will be sent to Washington DC to aid the government in creating legislation to minimize trash in our oceans! This specific cleanup is coordinated by Salem Sound Coastwatch. Join us for our newly developed historic grounds tour – one of a series of specialized tours currently in the works at The House of the Seven Gables. Learn about the original layout of the site through archival images and maps, then delve into Nathaniel Hawthorne’s novel through his depictions of the fictional Pyncheon gardens.
Enjoy a beautiful night on at the ocean's edge at the Plum Island Beach parking lot converted into a 'Drive-in'. Grab your friends or family, jump in the car and head over to Plum Island for a weekend of drive-in movies to kick off this summer! All proceeds to benefit the Newburyport Youth Services scholarship funds. This showing will be Cars! A hot-shot race-car named Lightning McQueen gets waylaid in Radiator Springs, where he finds the true meaning of friendship and family.
