On Second Saturdays, music students of Alexandra Grace Music Studio will join the Cape Ann Museum for the ‘Cape Ann Youth Musical Showcase’. Every month will have a different theme, and students will perform songs in a fun and creative evening of live music.
Wenham Museum hosts a fun presentation by Wingmasters in Wenham Massachusetts. Come see live owls up close in this indoor presentation that will introduce you to different owls and other birds of prey in our region. The presentations start at 10:30am or 2pm and includes admission to the museum. This program shows how owls use their specialized powers of sight, hearing and flight to survive and thrive. A wealth of fact and folklore about these masters of the dark explains the natural and unnatural history of owls. A variety of live owls provides the focus of the presentation.
Honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with storytelling, impactful conversation, art-making and music! Artists and thought leaders will share reflections on themes of social justice, equity, art, and empowerment, and invite participation in activities throughout the day.
Join us as we celebrate the legacy and leadership of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Come explore America, A Hymnal, the writings of Sarah Parker Remond, David Boxer’s The Black Books and other works that examine social justice, identity and freedom across the generations. All visitors enjoy free admission for the day!
Join MFA for their annual MLK Day Open House, presented in partnership with Citizens. This year, the MFA offers free admission—including access to “Fashioned by Sargent”—for Massachusetts residents. Celebrate the legacy of Dr. King by surrounding yourself with art making, performances, and talks with members of our community!
Ipswich Evergreen is a Holiday festival and civic celebration at the Ipswich Visitor Center , and Ipswich's Old South Meetinghouse Green. Ipswich has great cause for merriment and jubilation! With the new year in sight, let us gather as a community to reflect on what makes living in Ipswich the year round most wonderful with a make and take wreath session. Celebrate the solstice, make and take an evergreen wreath, and join the community celebration!
Join us to close out our 2023 season with some holiday themed karaoke, winter crafts and games! Bring a batch of cookies to share/swap. We will provide the hot cocoa and fun for the whole family! All ages. This event is free but we welcome donations!

Celebrate the fish city’s recognizably salty character with local cultural institutions and businesses during the 3rd Annual Gloucester’s So Salty festival on January 20 and 21, 2024 from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm! Over 1,800 people came out last year to share their salty pride while enjoying free ice sculptures and cultural activities around Downtown Gloucester.
