Salem Arts Festival 2025

The Salem Arts Festival is a joint project of Salem Main Streets and Creative Collective in Salem Massachusetts

For three days, this annual family friendly art festival transforms downtown Salem into an opportunity for the arts community to showcase their talents. The popular free event will feature many artists and performers, and includes a variety of art, music, dance, and theatre performances. The family-friendly festival also includes art-making for all ages, artisan vendors selling their creations, and a temporary public art installation.

The Tree of Care + Wonder at Salem Heritage Days

Join us for an immersive installation in celebration of Salem Heritage Days! Following three special PEM Pals collaborations, Salem’s Public Artist in Residence Claudia Paraschiv continues to explore how children can contribute to culture. “The Tree of Care+Wonder: Through a Child’s Lens” imagines how a future city might take care of and bring wonder to its residents.

Amesbury Public Library Kids' Poetry Contest allows submission through April 29

SUBMIT POEMS ANYTIME BETWEEN APRIL 1st – APRIL 29, 2023. All types of poetry accepted…So start thinking… Experimenting… Creating, Write your poem and submit it to the library. A poetry reading with the winners will happen on May 12, 2023.

Poetry Out Loud is a national recitation contest that celebrates the power of the spoken word and a mastery of public speaking skills while cultivating self-confidence and an appreciation of students’ literary heritage as they take poetry from the page to the stage. Poetry Out Loud has inspired hundreds of thousands of high school students to discover and appreciate both classic and contemporary poetry.

Family Poetry Festival at PEM

Peabody Essex Museum invites families to join them in a celebration of Poetry and all things poetic! Words and artworks intermingle as PEM welcomes the fifth annual Massachusetts Poetry Festival.
