Homecoming Bocce Tournament | Waring School

Beverlyy Homecoming Bocce Torunament at Waring School in Beverly Massachusetts

The 1st Annual Homecoming Bocce Tournament will take place on the campus of The Waring School, 35 Standley Street, Beverly, at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 10. Teams of 2, 3, or 4 players can enter. The tournament will feature a single elimination tournament on grass courts, followed by a “final contest” on the Waring School bocce court. Restrooms will be available in the gymnasium on campus. Newburyport High School Battle of the Bands is part of the NBPT Yankee Homecoming.

Newburyport Yankee Homecoming invites you to the Annual High School Battle of the Bands. Local High School aged bands will compete to see who rises to the top and with top winners getting cash prizes, performing live at other Yankee Homecoming Events and paid gigs for the band.  Watch local student bands battle it out on the stage, and help your favorite band by voting for them!

Teen Super Smash/Mario Kart Tournament

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Tournament with One Up Games at Ipswich Public Library Massachusetts.

We are going to all play many copies of Super Smash Brothers and Mario Kart at once (some on the Switch, some on the N64s provided), each player getting their name on a raffle ticket for every five minute round they win (SSB) or every 50cc course they win (MK). One prize for the most effectively lethal player (to be determined by Teen Librarian Katy's judgement of skill, enthusiasm, and growth) and one prize for the winner of the raffle.

During a 12-hour period, teams of birders of all ages and abilities seek out the greatest number of avian species and amass the most points based on the rarity of the birds recorded. The Tree Jubilee hosted by Marini Farm in Ipswich MA is a fun and unique charity event!!

Come to Marini Farm for the Tree Jubilee fundraiser to benefit The Ipswich Humane Group.  Tour the gallery of beautifully decorated trees and wreaths donated by local organizations, families, and businesses then choose the ones you want a chance to win! More than 50 spectacularly decorated trees and wreaths will be raffled off (decorations and all!) at the end of the Jubilee. You never know what our participants will decorate their trees with!
