The Far is a six-member band that has outstanding male and female vocalists, and a full complement of talented musicians and instruments that allow them to create a unique synergy. Newburyport Yankee Homecoming invites you to the Annual High School Battle of the Bands. Local High School aged bands will compete to see who rises to the top and with top winners getting cash prizes, performing live at other Yankee Homecoming Events and paid gigs for the band.  Watch local student bands battle it out on the stage, and help your favorite band by voting for them!
