The Second Saturday in May is the day to help stamp out hunger! Be the Change...

Participate in the Stamp Out Hunger® Food Drive, an impactful initiative recognized as the largest one-day food drive in the country. This program offers residents a simple and convenient method to contribute food to those facing food insecurity. All you have to do is place your donation of non-perishable food items next to your mailbox prior to mail delivery on Saturday, May 13. Dedicated letter carriers will collect these generous donations as they carry out their postal routes, ensuring that the food reaches local food banks, pantries, shelters, and churches where it will make a difference in the lives of those in need. Join us in this collective effort to combat hunger and provide support to our community.

Come to the eighth annual Fairy Gnome Discovery Walk at Pettengill Farm. The gems of the event are the 200+ Fairy and Gnome Homes peppered throughout a 1 mile wooded path that leads to the marsh and back. Homes are created by very talented professionals, families, school children, and local businesses. The event will have Fairy Tales read in the woods, live music, performances, FREE children’s crafts, yummy food trucks serving up lunch for purchase.

Gore Place Sheep Shearing Festival Waltham MA for North Shore Children Families

Since 1987, this annual event has entertained guests with music, 100+ craft and fiber artists, demonstrations of traditional shearing and herding dogs, and historic re-enactors on the beautiful grounds of this historic, 50-acre estate. People often tell us that spring doesn't begin until the Sheepshearing Festival!
