It’s Spring at Maudslay State Park , and our park is warming up! Join the park interpreter weekly for a leisurely afternoon stroll to experience the spring flora and fauna at Maudslay. Rain or shine. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water, bug spray recommended.
Maudslay State Park has a program that's a perfect pick for 8-12 year olds. Come just for fun or the “2 for 1”! Join the park interpreter for this fun program using nets, magnifiers and capture tanks to discover the hidden secrets in nature, and at the same time be eligible for Junior Rangers.
Young visitors are invited to join CAM staff and special guests for story time in the gallery. Offered in conjunction with the special exhibitions The Little House: Her Story and Once Upon a Contest: Selections from Cape Ann Reads. Free and open to the public. Please remember, the Museum closes at 5:00 p.m.
Ages 0-5yo and a parent/caregiver. Children will develop literacy and social skills through story time and play-based art experiences.
Join us in the pollinator garden at the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge! We'll read lots of books geared toward kids ages 0-5, after which patrons are invited to do a craft and take a self-guided walk to see the animals at Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm. This story time takes place the second Wednesday of the month in June, July & August
It's time for backyard birds to head south for the winter. Joppa Flats Education Center want to give them a proper send-off with a fun, free family event that features bird banding demonstrations, interactive games about bird migration, and lots of table-top science including bird-call recall, bird identification, shorebird feeding challenges, and a mystery bird nest challenge!
Create colorful corn, pinecone turkeys, and more at Veasey Park! A great way to decorate your Thanksgiving table. Great for ages 3 and up!

Bubbleology enchants audiences of all ages with the art and science of soap bubbles. Keith builds beautiful sculptural creations (massive & miniature) with enthusiasm, humor and style. One moment he will be encasing a dinosaur in a bubble and in the next moment he's encapsulating an audience volunteer.
