HAWC hosts their annual fundraiser run and walk in Salem, Massachusetts. Come together to support HAWC and raise critical funds and awareness for HAWC's work. Participate in our 5K traditional walk, a timed run, through historic downtown Salem. Then stay to participate in our Family Fun Festival with kids games and races, lunch courtesy of Kelly’s Roast Beef , a pet parade led by the Good Witch of Salem, interactive activities hosted by our vendors and more!
Tween Nights!
Glass, snacks, drinks, a participant-curated playlist, and lots of goofy fun and creativity.
Kids ages 9 and up are encouraged to join us for an evening of artistic fun!
This is a drop off event. Snacks and soft drinks will be provided.

Music Together® is a research-based music & movement program for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and the grown-ups who love them. Music Together® classes make it easy for parents/primary caregivers to play a crucial role in activating their child's music development.
Classes are 45 minutes long and include rhythmic games, dance, and instrument play and are age & developmentally appropriate for the children while easy and fun for the caregivers, regardless of their musical ability.

Join Salem Coastwatch during April school vacation week for a special family event where we will be “diving in” to all things under the sea! Come enjoy some ocean-themed stories, songs, and games, followed by a craft and the chance to meet and learn about real Salem sea creatures from Salem Sound Coastwatch’s touch tank!

For this school vacation week, travel across the world without leaving Salem by learning traditional Chinese paper cutting with local guest artist Zhonghe (Elena) Li on Monday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons. Join us for film screenings in Morse Auditorium on Friday, and challenge yourself all three days with a museum-wide dragon scavenger hunt!
Have a new or struggling reader who needs to build confidence and practice reading aloud? Come read to Hendrix, the trained therapy dog, a sweet a non-judgmental listener! Bring your own book to read, or choose one of ours.
Salem Public Library hosts a morning session of LEGO fun! We provide the LEGO, you provide the imagination. Stop by the library on Saturday mornings (every other Saturday) to play and build. Open to kids 4+ (with caregivers). Siblings welcome.
