Pinto Bella Hula Hoops

Hula Hoops are healthy and fun! Come find out for yourself at Sawyer Free Librar

Kids will learn all about Hula Hooping at Sawyer Free Library. Pinto Bella Hula Hoops will have a live demonstration where kids will learn the history of hula hoops, the benefits of the activity and how to do it properly! Kids will then have a chance to try for themselves, and then join iun on organized games and use teamwork to see how fun and energizing Hula Hooping can be! For kids in grades K-5!

Mini Iron Chef Pizza Challenge

CMNH hosts a mini iron chef pizza challenge!

The Children's Museum of New Hampshire hosts an Iron Chef challenge for kids! Kids who love to cook are invited to test their skill at the Children’s Museum of NH’s fourth annual Mini Iron Chef Challenge on Sunday, March 9. This event is sponsored by Hannaford Supermarkets as part of the FoodWorks partnership that Hannaford created with the museum.

All Ages Makers Workshop at CMNH

Learn How to solder with simple kits that have taught thousands this basic elect

The Children's Museum of New Hampshire hosts an all ages maker workshop! Join Alex Nunn of Seacoast Makers to learn how to solder, make a robot badge and build an LED light that can be controlled by a switch. Fee: $10 per adult or adult/child pair, plus $6 materials fee. Making Stuff Workshop at CMNH

CMNH hosts a day long workshop inpsired by the PBS series 'Making Stuff'

The Children's Museum of New Hampshire want you to make stuff! With inspiration and materials from PBS NOVA's "Making Stuff" series, we're setting up our Studio space for kids to get creative. Visitors are invited to drop in anytime to build with recycled materials, create cool artwork, test out ideas and have fun using their imaginations. What will your child want to make to take home?

LEGOs and Tea at the Essex Shipbuilding Museum!

Take a break! Relax with a cup of tea or coffee while the kids play with Legos, drawing and coloring materials, or other games in the Museum's Orientation Center (front building). No charge. Bad weather - heavy snow, bad driving conditions cancels. Supported through a grant from the Robbins de Beaumont Foundation.

Snow Train to Bakersville

Come expereince the Wenham Museum during the Holiday School Break

For many North Shore families, the holidays being with a visit to see the Snow Train to Bakersville, a G-gauge holiday model train layout. See miniature Snoopy and the gang skate across a tiny pond, old-fashioned cars fill the gas-lit streets, and tiny clothes pin people cheerfully visit throughout a snow-covered village as the train clatters by.
