The Phillips Academy Music Department will sponsor its 28th annual holiday concert presenting excerpts from Handel's Oratorio, Messiah featuring the Phillips Academy Community Chorus and the Academy Chamber Players under the direction of Christopher Walter. Soloists will be Shannon Canavin, PA '91, soprano; Krista River, mezzo-soprano; Eric Christopher Perry, tenor; and Donald Wilkinson, bass.

Join American Girl™ for a pasta workshop! We’ll show you how to cut out ravioli using a cool tool called a ravioli plaque, and together we’ll cook a yummy sauce for our pasta. Then mangia (“eat”)! The Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk is the largest participatory event benefiting the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. It is the only event, other than the Boston Marathon® itself, sanctioned to travel along the famed 26.2-mile route from Hopkinton, Massachusetts to Boston.

The REAL (Reading • Educational Assistance • Learning) Program is holding their 2nd annual fundraising event, called "A REAL Night Out" at the Glen Urquhart School in Beverly, MA. The event will feature live and silent auctions, speakers, and entertainment. The event will be attneded by 250-350 community activists, local philanthropists, parents of children in the program, educational professionals, community leaders, city officials, and city school employees.
