The Dineh Tah’ Navajo Dancers are visiting Manchester from the Navajo Nation for the 155th commemoration of the Navajo Treaty. The agreement was signed by two Indian Peace Commissioners, Colonel Samuel F. Tappan of Manchester, (1831-1913) and General William Tecumseh Sherman (1820-1891). The Dancers will be acknowledging the life and legacy of Colonel Tappan and the key role he played in negotiating the 1868 Navajo Treaty.
APL hosts Imajine That's 'Magnetic Personality'! Explore the power of magnets with a variety of activities that test their strength! Imajine That from Lawrence, MA brings the fun to us with a wonderful science program. Ages 3 to 6 are welcome! Registration is required.
APL hosts 'Imajine That Presents: Science Explorers: Let it Snow!' Kids will learn about that wacky thing called snow. What is snow? What is it made out of? What happens when you bring snow inside? We'll also make a pipe cleaner snowflake craft to take home! Ages 4 to 6 years old. Registration is required.

Danvers Library kicks off National Poetry Month with a poetry open mic for teens. From slam poetry to sonnets, all poetry is welcome! Please register if you would like to read a poem by emailing jsantomauro@noblenet.org. There may be time at the end for poets who didn't register to read. Presented with National English Honors Society at Danvers High School. If you are attending but not reading, no need to register.
