Appleton Farmhouse Workshop: Farm to Kitchen - Root Cellar

Join Chef Liz Walkowicz in this lively, hands-on cooking class in the Kitchen at the Trustees of Reservations' Appleton Farms in Ipswich Massachusetts.

Join chef Liz Walcowicz in this lively, hands-on cooking class. Participants will learn how to utilize root vegetables from the farm and other local farmers to create an exciting multi-course meal. The menu changes seasonally and each class will provide an opportunity for participants to increase their comfort in the kitchen through new knife skills, techniques and flavor profiles. There will be equal parts cooking and eating, and class ends with a shared meal, so bring your appetite!

CAM Kids: Valentine Workshop Second Saturday in Gloucester Massachusetts

Warm your hearts in chilly February by making a handmade love letter from new and recycled papers. Participants are invited to bring their own recycled papers or choose from the many beautiful papers in the CAM Studio. Tickets include parking, access to the event, a complimentary hot cocoa-bar, fire pits on the farmhouse lawn and outdoor activities to entertain the kids. Firehouse Center: February Vacation Teen Intensive

Kids ages 13-17 are invited to a theater acting vacation workshop at the Firehouse Center of the Arts in Newburyport Massachusetts

Kids ages 13-17 are encouraged to enroll in a week long intensive program focused on theater acting techniques during February Vacation week! During this week, each individual will have the opportunity to explore improvisation, theatre games, and delve into an intense, week-long rehearsal process for Disney’s High School Musical. They will be educated in music, acting, and dance all while working towards three final performances on Friday, February 24th at 7:00 PM, Saturday, February 25th at 7:00 PM and Sunday, February 26th at 2:00 PM.

Signs of Winter Wildlife at Rough Meadows

Kids will learn about winter animals of the North Shore by studying their tracks and other signs they leave behind in Rowley Massachusetts

The Essex County Greenbelt Association invites families to join North Shore Nature Programs is for outdoor fun for children of all ages. We'll walk the flat marshland trails at a wildlife sanctuary to explore different signs that wildlife leave in winter, like footprints, scat, nesting materials, and more.
