Family Cooking Nights A North Shore Event for Grieving Kids and Teens

For children (ages 4-18) and their families grieving the death of someone important. Join us for a free night of cooking, nourish your body and soul as you meet other families who are also grieving.

A Collaboration between Care Dimensions and Boston Medical Center’s Good Grief Program.

Care Dimensions is the largest provider of hospice and palliative care services in Massachusetts, and provides care in 95 communities.

April Vacation Camp at Waldorf School at Moraine Farm, led by our after-school program lead teacher, is a great way for your child/ren to spend their April Vacation Week. Campers will “Spring” into the outdoors, discovering budding plant life, and learning together as they traverse the preserved woods of Moraine Farm. Inside, they will get a peaceful rejuvenating rest in our cozy classroom and listen to magical stories!

Parent & Child Drop in Thrusdays Waldorf at Moraine Farm - Beverly MA

Parent & Child Classes at Waldorf at Moraine Farm - Beverly MA. Parent and Child classes offer parents, grandparents, and caregivers the opportunity to learn about child development, Waldorf education and parenting the young child all within a home-like environment at our beautiful location on Moraine Farm.

Classes follow the normal rhythm of our Parent & Child classes, with bread making, circle games, play in our beautiful classroom and outdoor playground. Everyone goes home with freshly baked bread. The Waldorf Parent & Child Class is for parents and caregivers with 1 to 3 years.

Limited to 10 families per class.

GUS: Navigating Social Media Use in the Modern Teenage World

Glen Urquhart School invites us explore the modern-day middle school landscape, how social media has changed how our children socialize and interact in and out of the classroom, and the impact social media has on our children - whether they’re active participants or not. Ozgur Akbas, a licensed family therapist, will help us to better understand what our children are facing in an online world, as well as the social-emotional implications, and will share best practices for managing social media use and helping your kids navigate the responsibility that comes with this aspect of the modern teenage world.
