As part of COASTSWEEP Beach Cleanup, volunteers are encouraged to come to Short Beach to help in the statewide effort to keep our coastline clean along the shore at Lynn Shore & Nahant Beach State Reservation in Massachusetts.
Help us protect our coastal habitats and connect with our partners Keep Massachusetts Beautiful, as well as other ocean change-makers in the Boston community! Volunteers are invited to join Oceanic Global, and Corona USA for a litter cleanup of the area surrounding Lynn Shore & Nahant Beach Reservation preventing marine debris and microplastics from entering our waterways.
Trash collected will be measured and analyzed, and the data will be sent to Washington DC to aid the government in creating legislation to minimize trash in our oceans! This specific cleanup is coordinated by Neil Rhein of Keep Massachusetts Beautiful.
