Besides being the time for New Year's resolutions and new starts of all kinds, January is also the month for independent school open houses on Boston's North Shore. Every year at the end of January, Shore stages its own Winter Open House.

Join The Trustees of Reservations, the Waldorf School at Moraine Farm, and Project Adventure, Inc for a fun day of activities for Trails & Sails! The festival offers tours, kid-friendly fun, farm animals, lectures, homemade goodies and storytelling activities sponsored by the six non-profit organizations that own and manage the 170-acre farm. Moraine Farm is permanently protected conservation land along the shores of Wenham Lake that includes meadows, woodlands and formal gardens as well as farmland. The landscape was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted in the 1880s and its woodlands are studded with mature rhododendron stands and azaleas.

Come to a Classic Car Show in Beverly! There will be giveaways, 50/50 and lots of other raffles, lots of special interest vehicles, a DJ and bands including "The Sugar Tones"! Come learn some histroy and check out some of the coolest cars ont he North Shore!
