Change is Simple’s Paddle Adventures have been a blast for years and this year we are adding something NEW; adults. Yes, now you can paddle with your child. It is not required but if adults would like to paddle with the child they are signing up, just sign yourself up too! These adventures are packed with fun for all ages and we have all the gear you need thanks to support from Keen Shoes, New Belgium Brewing Co. and Isle Paddleboards. Each adventure will have a different learning focus; from local species and fisheries, to marine plastics, tap water and sea level rise. All made fun by our creative team. Space is limited to ten participants per session. Minimum participation is 5 participants.
Ipswich River Watershed Associationinvites you to Riverbend headquarters in celebrating the return of the paddling season. We’ll be leading a short paddle down river to the historic Peatfield landing where we’ve installed the our newest kiosk. Then we’ll return to Riverbend for ice cream, soda, beer, music and games. The 6th Annual Paddle for Plummer on July 13th, 2019 will be a day full of energy, stoke, fun and fitness for a fantastic cause! You don’t want to miss it! There will be over 400 participants and spectators enjoying live music, food, waterfront spinning, SUP yoga, and, of course, paddling on our beautiful waterfront property at Plummer Youth Promise in Salem, MA. Locally and internationally known sponsors and vendors will be there doing demos and supporting Plummer Youth Promise. All proceeds to the Plummer Home.
Join the fun of the 3rd Annual Kayak and Paddle Board River Race. Participants will launch at Cashman Park boat ramp off Merrimac Street. The contestants will paddle up River at low tide/slack tide around Ram Island, Carr Island, Deer Island and back to Cashman Park with the out going tide, 4.6 miles.
Mark your calendars it's time again for the CAPE ANN SUP TURKEY PADDLE. This race is meant to be fun and bring people together before most of us spend a few months in hibernation! Profits will go to our good friends at The Open Door, who will help fill the bellies of many Cape Ann-ers this holiday season.
