Join us as we share a children's nature story before we explore the woods, fields, and wetlands of the Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary.Today: We'll read [amazon B000PJ7OCS inline] by Nancy Luenn. Then, using buckets and strainers, we will explore a pond and a wetland habitat and search for critters that swim, soar, and crawl.

Sawyer Free Library: Toddler Time

Sawyer Free Library: Toddler Time every Wednesday Morning!

Come enjoy a morning program filled with playtime, stories, crafts and more. Children and caregivers are invited to the Sawyer Free Library for a fun hour of stories, playtime, stories, songs, bubbles, movement, and a simple craft.  Lots of fun and a great way to introduce children to other children his or her own age.  For children ages 1-3.  All are welcome!

When: 
Wednesdays from 10 - 11:00 a.m.

Ipswich Public Library: Story Time

Children ages 2-4 and their caregivers are invited to join story time to listen to stories, sing songs, engage in large motor skill activities, and to make a simple craft. This story time involves the enthusiastic participation of all adults accompanying children, so tune up your voice and come prepared to have fun! No registration is required.

Museum of Fine Arts Playdates

Visit Massachusetts for family fun with MFA Playdates North Shore Baby, Children and Families

Bring your toddler to enjoy story time and looking activities in the galleries, followed by art making. Tours leave on a rolling basis starting at 10:15 am. The last tour leaves at 10:55 am. Each month focuses on a specific theme, join us in October for “Fall on the Farm.” Recommended for children ages 4 and younger with adults. No registration required.

Enjoy the spirit of the season and take home the fragrance of the forest. We will read [amazon:978-0060281892:inline] by Margaret Wise Brown. Then we will visit the forest to identify a variety of evergreens by their shape, needles, cones, and fragrance.
