Come see baseball the way it was played during the time of the Civil War. See the Providence Grays take on the Brooklyn Atlantics in an 1864 style vintage base ball game. See how much the game has changed from the time of no gloves, wool uniforms, and heavy wooden bats. Event is free for all to attend.
Bring your toddler to enjoy story time and looking activities in the galleries, followed by art making. Tours leave on a rolling basis starting at 10:15 am. The last tour leaves at 10:55 am. “Aurora Over the Silk Road” is an interactive workshop created and produced by teen siblings Yasmine and Anthony as the culmination of a homeschooling project. The brother-sister duo founded Yasmanth Inc. to take their presentation on tour around the country. This program is included with paid admission to the Children’s Museum and is free for museum members.

Join the Trustees for full house tours being offered every half hour from 10am to 2pm on a first come, first serve basis. The last house tour will begin around 1:30. The tours will bring you through the whole house and will lead you in the story of Helen and John Coolidge.
