Let's explore the woods, the salt marsh, and the streams to look for creatures like birds, fish, frogs, and more while we learn, play, and explore. We'll use our "science eyes" and "nature ears" and discover wildife together!

Baby Boot Camp stroller-based fitness classes are designed specifically to help moms get fit. It takes the place of a personal trainer at a time in your life when you need one more than ever. Classes combine strength-training exercises with cardiovascular drills. Pilates, yoga and abdominal exercises help improve core strength. The stroller, resistance tubes (and even your child!) are used as an integral part of the workout. Come try it - the first class is always FREE!
Splish Splash Science is an active, fun, program where you and your child will learn all about water properties such as sinking, floating, surface tension, buoyancy, and waterproofing. Using fun props and lots of hands on science, we’ll look at everything from ducks to scuba divers and how water works!

Coordinated Family & Community Engagement of Hamilton-Wenham presents and evening of fun with music by Peter Stewart, arts and crafts, activities for all ages and an opportunity to visit with representatives from local schools and community members at our first annual Brain Building in Progress Week Celebration! Meet in the Curious George Discovery Corner on the first floor of the Aquarium. Family Days are open to all Aquarium visitors, and no registration is required.
Drop-in for our yearly holiday wrapping paper workshop. This year we will be joined by Regina from the Boston Paper Collective as we learn Suminagashi, the ancient Japanese art of paper marbling. Make your own Suminagshi paper and see some examples of Ebru (Turkish paper marbling) as show above.
This parent/child program is designed for the creative, curious, and active preschooler. Each 90-minute session offers a structured series of activities including original songs, movement, dramatic play, hands-on science, and a thematic snack. When it's time to go home, you'll receive coloring pages, song lyrics, vocabulary, a fun fact sheet, and a suggested reading list via email.
