In this course, kids ages 11 and up will learn the basics of first aid and learn what to do if they are presented with a person who is injured, in shock, bleeding or burned. This course goes beyond just calling 911, and the information your child learns could make a critical difference if they are presented with an emergency in their daily lives! Knowledge of first aid basics is an important life skill that builds confidence as they face new and different situations as they grow. Course fee includes certification (valid for 2 years).

Kids classes are designed to be fun and give kids a chance to try a bunch of different circus arts in one class, with a mix of balance equipment (stilts, tight wire), and manipulation (juggling, hula hoops, circus acrobatics, clowning skills, Aerial Silks & Trapeze. We will have an obstacle course that teaches hand signals and rules of the road, a free bicycle safety check, and great prizes like new helmets and bike lights! The Fast Chicks 5k is a Hamilton-Wenham Mother's Club sponsored community fundraiser race that celebrates active women and raises funds for a selected charity each year. There's also a FREE kids race - a 100 yard dash! Now in it's third year, the race begins and ends at Patton park and funds raise this year will go to the Wellspring House, a North Shore organization based in Gloucester that empowers individuals and families to live more secure lives through basic needs assistance, education and job training.
