This evening event will provide a tour of ifarm’s many facets, including: the farm’s 240-year history, our historic farmhouse, barn, and carriage house venues, our cut flower gardens, (which feature over forty varieties of flowers) and our permaculture (permanent agriculture) gardens, which utilize both traditional and innovative techniques for raising crops as sustainably as possible.
Join Historic Beverly on a journey through Beverly to visit the homes and businesses of some of Beverly's most famous privateers, including the legendary Hugh Hill! We will also experience some beautiful waterfront views as our guides explain how these sites would have looked and been used. Walking tours offer insight into the hidden history of Beverly and introduce you to its key events and major figures. Rain or shine; in case of severe weather, check with us that day. Meet at Frye Pond Beach - Fish, frogs, snakes, and salamanders, let’s discover what lives in our tranquil New England ponds! Nets and buckets are provided. This activity can be wet and muddy. Recommend bringing water, insect repellent, sun screen, binoculars and camera. Appropriate for all ages.
Magnolia’s 43rd Annual Road Race is a 5k Race to be held rain or shine along a beautiful, scenic route in Magnolia. A 1k Walk/Fun Run will appeal to kids and those not capable of completing the 5k. All proceeds from the races go to the Magnolia Library.

Montserrat College of Art, Bridge Street Neck Neighborhood Association (BSNNA) & other City folk from Salem & Beverly are planning a fun, family-friendly evening block party as part of Montserrat’s week long Arts Festival on both sides of the Salem-Beverly Bridge. BSNNA will be lighting up the park while Montserrat lights up the bridge! Free admission!

You can pack a picnic dinner, bring the kids, and get ready to dance the night away under the stars on the Grand Allée. Explore the landscaped grounds and the family "Eye Spy."
Halibut Point State Park is also a granite quarry with a history that goes back billions of years! A rock is not a thing but a drama, it can teach us about the great unifying science and the unique geology of Cape Ann. Rocks can tell us a lot about how the landscape was formed and the geology of Cape Ann tells us great stories, all visible at Halibut Point. Meet at the Visitors Center in the park. For all ages. Bring the kids, the dog and the picnic blanket out to beautiful Maudslay State Park! One Saturday of every warm-weather month, we will be joined by many of our good friends in the community to present storytelling, song, dance, fairytale-theater and a fun group activity, all right here in the park and all entirely free! Come make a friend, sing a song, take in some sun and get to know your park better.
Join us for the official kickoff of the Theater in the Open 40th Anniversary Season! Edward Speck and Joshua Shack know that we need a spring panto to celebrate the change in seasons at Maudslay State Park. This year, they’ll collaborate to create another completely original panto based on a beloved story, Peter Pan. Pirates, fairies and Lost Boys will abound in this whimsically goofy take on the J. M. Barrie classic.
Rockport’s Millbrook Meadow and Mill Pond will have a “Grand Re-Opening” Saturday (August 17) with a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. The ceremony will be held midway through the park. There’ll be popcorn, strolling miniature horses, Millbrook Meadow souvenir bandanas, nature explainers, music, jugglers, and Rockport’s annual Rubber Duck Race.
