Don't miss the Museum of Science members-only overnight! You and your family will enjoy after-hours access to the nearly empty Museum, and a chance to sleep beside your favorite exhibit. There’ll be fun-filled hands-on activities, a late-night Lightning! show, and in the morning you’ll wake up to a light breakfast and a giant-screen IMAX® film.

Wednesday during July and August Ipswich Museum hosts a drop-in program at the Whipple House suitable for all ages.
Themes will change each week, but each Whipple Wednesday will include a hands-on activity and Colonial games.

PEM Captures island allure through the eyes of America's leading impressionist painter. American Impressionist: Childe Hassam and the Isles of Shoals. On view July 16 through November 6, 2016. The Peabody Essex Museum (PEM) presents American Impressionist: Childe Hassam and the Isles of Shoals, the first exhibition in more than 25 years to focus on Hassam's paintings of Appledore, the celebrated Maine island.
In honor of Father’s Day, the Children's Museum of New Hampshire is offering free admission for all fathers and grandfathers on Sunday. There will also be a special gift-making activity for children who visit on Father’s Day to make a present for the special guy in their lives. This activity is included with paid admission (and free for Children’s Museum members.
Children of all ages will enjoy reading, walking, moving, and having fun to two great outdoor books: Stella, Star of the Sea and Storm Whale. These great coastal stories will engage children as they walk along reading each upright sign outdoors.
Wenham Museum is proud to be part of the Free Fun Fridays Program created by the Highland Street Foundation to further the goal of increasing access to culture, the arts, an education for people of all ages.
Come to the museum on Friday, July 1, 2016 and enjoy the museum's galleries featuring Wheels: Getting from Here to There, antique toys, dolls, dollhouses, 10 operating model train layouts, historic photographs and textiles. Tours of the museum's 17th-century Claflin-Gerrish-Richard's House will also be available at designated times. Experience the history of childhood with old-fashioned games on the lawn.

Mother's Day is a celebration at Peabody Essex Museum ! Enjoy Mother's Day Brunch at the museum catered by Hawthorne Catering and served in the Garden Restaurant overlooking the Asian Garden. After your meal visit the galleries and Museum Shop, where you can exchange your brunch voucher for a complimentary gift for Mom. General Admission to PEM is included with brunch pricing.
Boston Children's Museum Lunch & Learn Lecture Series will be held Tuesday, May 17th from 11:30 am-1:15 pm. Dr. Sara Lawrence-Lightfoot will speak on the importance of the parent-teacher relationship and its impact on the lives of children.
