Need more assurance that winter is really ending? Come explore the refuge on a self-guided scavenger hunt for signs of spring. Engage all your senses (ok, not taste!), to learn more about how our resident plants, birds, frogs, and other wildlife respond to the changing seasons. You can download the scavenger hunt checklist, including key locations for spotting each sign of spring, from our virtual library or visiting the refuge Facebook page.  Or, drop by the visitor center at 6 Plum Island Turnpike during open hours to pick up a copy at the front desk.
