Join Essex Heritage for tours of Salem Harbor and beyond all summer long! Essex Heritage offers a variety of specialty tours for adventurers of all ages. NEW this summer are narrated harbor cruises on Friday afternoons departing from the Salem Maritime National Historic Site. Come aboard Naumkeag and discover the wonders of coastal Essex County.

On your voyage you'll see FIVE harbor lighthouses, military fortifications, historic houses, and grand estates. The sights of Salem Sound tell a fascinating story of communities shaped by the sea.

As a walker, volunteer or donor, you can be part of an inspirational day in the fight against cancer. The 10K (6.2 mile) WALK route is an unforgettable journey of shared purpose and commitment. It winds through historic Salem, featuring an array of entertainers that lend a festive air to this profound community event. We encourage you to become a part of this annual celebration of life, hope and courage of all those who have been touched by this disease.

Wild Designs, on exhibit at Peabody Essex Museum, features works by artists and other creatives who are looking to nature and living systems for new ideas and creative solutions to human problems. Explore bioinspired innovations in design, technology, and art that either model or engage nature to generate more sustainable solutions.
