Walk

There's a lot going on in the natural world in winter, so bundle up the family and join us for an outdoor exploration! This walk will begin with a short introduction indoors, and then we'll go outside to explore. What birds visit your house in winter? We'll walk the trails looking, listening, and calling for birds. After our hike, we'll return to the Nature Center to warm up and view birds from our observation window.

Come to Endicott Park in Danvers for a morning hike through the woods on Whipple Hillthat wraps up with a story & s'mores by the fire!

The Trustees of Reservations invites you to get your little ones out of the house and build your family's outdoor confidence on a guided family hike! Meet up with your group of fellow explorers to learn a new nature tidbit and then hit the trails! We'll go at a comfortable pace for little legs and leave plenty of space for asking questions and stopping to observe something cool.

The annual Middle Street Walk 2024 wraps up every year with the lighting of the lobster trap Christmas tree in Gloucester Massachusetts! Stop by Cape Ann Art Haven for a Holiday Party with hot chocolate, sweet treats, kids' crafts, holiday photos, face painting live music. Caroling starts at 4:30pm, followed by the tree lighting across the street at 5pm. Come find your buoy hanging on the tree, enjoy caroling, seeing the star put on the tree join us for the countdown and celebrate the season with the lighting of our Lobster Trap Tree!
