Families are invited to get your feet wet and hands dirty in the salt marsh while using scientific tools to investigate marsh soil, water, & weather, and identify marsh flora and fauna. Learn what lives in the salt marsh, how the tides and weather shape life here, what the Trustees are doing (and what you can do!) to protect this essential estuary habitat.
Enjoy the view from Stearns Pond as you learn about the moon cycle and its importance to people over the centuries. The easy walk will be enjoyed by beginners and experienced hikers alike.

Join the park interpreter for a three-part history tour series that includes viewing both house sites, the gardens and farm complex area plus the barns to learn more about these parts of the Moseley Family estate.

Come and explore Ward Reservation with The Trustees and McVAGLY (Merrimack Valley Alliance of GLBT Youth) on this evening hike. Ward Reservation boasts 12 miles of trails and the highest point in Essex County where we’ll catch the sunset upon the conclusion of our hike. Among the highlights of the walk will be the quaking bog, scenic vistas and historic apple orchards. We will enjoy the beauty of June in New England, learn some basic plant identification, and also enjoy an activity provided by our friends at ReVision Energy.
Join Tinkerhaus for free weekly sessions for Kids 3 and up on the Clipper City Rail Trail between High and Low Street, right by the Toy Train. Wear clothes that can get wet and messy. We will explore a large variety of materials.
Hike one of North Andover’s lesser-known trails and learn a little tree identification along the way! Come check out the Stevens to Stevens Trail, a scenic trail connecting the Old Center Common to Weir Hill to Osgood Hill. We'll meet at the North Andover Merchant Association Fall Festival on the Common, across the street from the trail entrance on Mass Ave.
As spring arrives and settles in, Miss Lisa wants to take you through the woods, on the trails, and along the shore to look for creatures, explore, and play. We'll use our "science eyes" and "nature ears" for some outdoor family fun! On this walk we'll explore the rocky shoreline of Sandy Point!
