Drop the kids off for a fun night painting a ceramic skull for Halloween! Space is limited so register soon. Limited Scholarships spaces are available (Email traci@arthaven.org).
Grades 6-12: Learn how to paint a sugar skull in celebration of El Dia de los Muertos with step-by-step instructions! You will leave with a beautiful completed painting! Meets in the Program Room. Please join us for pumpkin decorating, face painting, music, cider donuts and more! Decorated pumpkins may be left to be submitted into the MFF's Pumpkin Illumination on 10/24 (for a chance to win prizes!). Admission include everything needed to decorate a pumpkin! Hosted by the Marblehead Family Fund and the Marblehead Recreation Department.
TOHP Burnham Public Library invites kids ages 5 and up to stop in to make a spooky craft! Sign up not required, but if you plan to attend, we'd love to know in advance!
The Abbot Public Library invites young children to come in costume to our library party! We have created some spooky snacks, creepy crafts, ghoulish games, and Halloween-themed stories for kids of all ages. Wear your costume or come as you are. All ages are welcome!
The Ipswich Ale Brewery will be one stop that you won't want to miss on your trick-or-treating route this year! Swing by the brewery for free beer samples and take in the spooky sights and sounds of the brewery. Don't forget to bring the kids and let them sip on an Ipswich Soda Pop or snack on some candy while they show off their costumes!
Take a stroll up historic Chestnut Street and join the sea chantey-singing Salem pirates for tricks, treats, and treasures at Historic New England’s Phillips House on Halloween night. This special family-friendly event is free and takes place on Thursday, October 31 from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Salem’s official trick-or-treating hours.
Kids are invited to Pickering Wharf for the Trick or treating and Halloween fun with the merchants on the wharf! Bring the family along for a fun filled time. Put on your costume and come join the fun!
The Greater Newburyport Mothers and Families Club Halloween Spooktacular is fun for the whole family! Come dressed in your favorite costume for the most "spooktacular" GNFC Halloween Party yet! Kids of all ages will enjoy live music by Travis Ford and dancing, tractor rides, pumpkin "picking," fall games, Halloween tattoo station and trick-or-treating - all in the beautiful outdoor setting of the Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm. A costume contest will be held at 3:00 pm so come dressed to impress!
