MAC Summer Camps have been offering an extensive diversity of activities for youth ages 3-16 during the summer months for over 16 years. Manchester Athletic Club offers a variety of day camps ranging from a full week adventure based camp to a daily tennis camps. Our flexible options make it easy to get your children involved, keeping them active throughout the summer and creating memories to last a lifetime!

MAC Summer Camp programs are packed with endless fun for children ages 3 -16 years of age. Theater in the Open hosts their Summer Arts Workshop is a fun-filled, out-door, adventurous way to learn and grow at Maudslay State Park in Newburyport. It is a place where young people have the opportunity to be creative and build lasting relationships with their peers in a safe, non-competitive environment designed for personal and artistic growth. Our professional staff of artists and educators is dedicated to providing our students with a positive, creative, artistic experience.

Lisa Hutchings Teacher-Naturalist from Mass Audubon's Joppa Flats Education Center and the crew of Newburyport Harbor Tours Inc.'s Yankee Clipper invite you and your family for an exciting exploration of the lower Merrimack River ecosystem. We'll practice hands-on science, use interactive propgs, and look for seabirds, seals, and waterfowl on every trip. Enjoy cruising and learning about this vital part of the area's natural history.

Strawberry Moon Family Night Hike

Hike Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary with oyur family under June's Strawberry Moon!

Local Native American tribes call the June full moon the Strawberry Moon because it heralds the time of year to pick wild strawberries. Spend an evening walking in the warm air, listen to the dusk bird songs turn to choruses of spring peepers, and try to catch a glimpse of our resident wildlife as spring ripens into summer. We'll enjoy some strawberries and chocolate as a sweet treat to end the night.
