Tide Pool Explorers at Sandy Point

Low tide is the perfect time for tide pooling at Sandy Point Reservation!

Join the Interpreter too explore the tide pools at SSandy Point! We will be looking at ddifferent organisms that inhhabit the pools such as crabs, sand dollars, starfish, periwwinkles, and many more! Meet at the first parking lot near thee beach entrance. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Parking at Sandy Pooint is limited. Each 90-minute session offers a structured series of activities including original songs, movement, dramatic play, hands-on science, and a thematic snack. You'll receive coloring pages, song lyrics, vocabulary, a fun fact sheet, and a suggested reading list in an electronic goody bag!

Preschool Nature Explorers at Parker River NWR

Piping Plover at Parker River National Wildlife Refuge in Newbury Massachusetts!

This is a new series of hands-on nature classes for 4 and 5-year-old children (and their caregivers).   Sign up for individual sessions or the entire series!   Some sessions will be held at the refuge visitor center, while others will be conducted on the refuge at the parking lot 1 visitor contact station.
