Studio Two is a headlining Beatles band that pays tribute to the early Beatles years, choosing songs from the pre-Sgt. Pepper era. Featuring graduates from Berklee College of Music and Beatles devotees, Studio Two band mates met in a “cellar full of noise” in a town slightly west of Liverpool (Milford, New Hampshire!) to pay homage to the greatest rock band of all time.
Greater Newburyport Ovarian Cancer Awarness GNOCA will host the annual Lantern Festival at Downtown Newburyport. In the Asian tradition, we will remember families & friends & make wishes for the future. Come decorate, light, & float lanterns at dusk.
The Annual Red, White & Blue Pancake Breakfast at Tuck's Point will feature live music, pony rides, a great breakfast and more at the beautiful seaside setting of Tuck's Point! There of course will be pancakes with all the fixings, eggs, bacon, coffee, pony rides and face painting for the kids, and musical entertainment! 50/50 Raffle to benefit the Manchester-Essex Rotary Club Scholarship fund will be drawn at 11:30AM. Take the free water taxi service between Tuck's Point and either Manchester Town Hall or Reid's Park to avoid the traffic, starting at 7:30 AM and running until 11:30 PM. Join us for a free day of outdoor activities at the refuge. Learn to surf cast, meet tidepool critters up close, dissect an owl pellet, and even view the sun through a solar scope. This is an open streets event, meaning most of the refuge road is closed to walk, bike, and roll!
