Have you ever wished you could touch a whale? From the inside? Internationally renowned Whale Specialist and Educator, Cynde McInnis, introduces us to her 43 foot inflatable Humpback Whale Nile, and teaches us all about the beloved marine mammal.

This week's program will focus on strange animal partners in nature like sharks and fish, hermit crabs and anemones and even chipmunks and weasels! We’ve got great activities planned like “Who’s Your Partner?” and “Make a Mad Lib!” and our craft is a take home sea creature photo holder! We’ve got some live marine life, great videos and lots of science.
Abbot Public Library invites you to come as fast as you can to a special dinosaur-themed Tea Party on Friday, February 21, from 10:15 am – 11:00 am.
Children ages 2-5 are invited to bring their favorite dinosaur toy, listen to Dino stories, and have some tasty juice and cookies. It’s sure to be a Pterrific Time!

The Manchester Public Library invites kids to fun puppet show featuring Lindsay and Her Puppet Pals! Lindsay shares her hand crafted, life size puppets with children and families across NH, MA, and ME. Filled with silliness, crowd participation, and lovable characters, her charming and positive short stories will delight the young and the young at heart! Don't miss this show - your kids will be chattering for weeks about these crazy animals!
In this week's program, kids will learn about naturally-occurring patterns and talk about some of nature's best designers and architects! Kids will learn about how bees achieve the perfect hexagons found in their honey combs, how much structural design goes into a beaver dam and how animals and other creatures use naturally occurring patterns found throughout our natural environment. Our afternoon starts off with self-guided activities, challenges, or puzzles that lead us to our topic for the day.

"Pajamas of My Dreams” is a beautifully illustrated book that combines the hopefulness and high aspirations of children with a mission of providing warm pajamas for all.
Come to Newburyport Public Library for a fun night of boards games! This a drop-in program - no registration required. All ages welcome! Children must be accompanied by an adult. There will be lots of games out: board games, cards, checkers and chess, and many, many more!
The New England Aquarium Penguins are coming to the library! (Children in Grades 1-5 ONLY). New England Aquarium educators will teach children how to act like penguins and how to collect and analyze data like scientists. Please note there will NOT be any live penguins at this program.
