Come enjoy community and music each Sunday in Patton Park! Dust off your lawn chairs and bring your picnic down to the park on Sunday evenings. We have a fantastic line up of bands this summer ---presented by Institution for Savings Bank and sponsored by The Community House, Town of Hamilton, HW Cultural Council, and the Town of Wenham. The Festival by the Sea is an annual event hosted by the Manchester Division of the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce, this all-day extravaganza taps into the long-line of local talent with musical and artistic performers alike. Festival by the Sea is a celebration of the things that are synonymous with Cape Ann in the summertime: Art, Music & Food ! Booths will be spread throughout downtown Manchester and Masconomo Park. Your senses will be inspired by the beautiful art, extraordinary live music and the aromas of delicious, local foods.
Participate in the Stamp Out Hunger® Food Drive, an impactful initiative recognized as the largest one-day food drive in the country. This program offers residents a simple and convenient method to contribute food to those facing food insecurity. All you have to do is place your donation of non-perishable food items next to your mailbox prior to mail delivery on Saturday, May 13. Dedicated letter carriers will collect these generous donations as they carry out their postal routes, ensuring that the food reaches local food banks, pantries, shelters, and churches where it will make a difference in the lives of those in need. Join us in this collective effort to combat hunger and provide support to our community.
Enjoy free live music, self-guided orchard walks, hard cider, food trucks, fitness n' family activities AND pick-your-tulips! Festival entrance is free but PRE-PURCHASED tickets for tulip picking REQUIRED. Tulip picking tickets will go live late April-early May as we monitor fields.
Come join the annual Marblehead Carnival sponsored by Junior Class at Devereaux Beach. Each year this carnival serves as a major fundraiser. You'll find rides, games, and great food! Come and enjoy some delicious cotton candy, live games, carnival rides, and food trucks all while supporting the Marblehead High School Senior Class! Please come with friends and family to enjoy this wonderful Marblehead tradition!
Come to the eighth annual Fairy Gnome Discovery Walk at Pettengill Farm. The gems of the event are the 200+ Fairy and Gnome Homes peppered throughout a 1 mile wooded path that leads to the marsh and back. Homes are created by very talented professionals, families, school children, and local businesses. The event will have Fairy Tales read in the woods, live music, performances, FREE children’s crafts, yummy food trucks serving up lunch for purchase.
Discover Marblehead and the Marblehead Chamber of Commerce are partnering up again for the 2024 Marblehead Spring Celebration! The event is on Saturday, May 11th (rain or shine)! This collaboration provides a festive showcase for local businesses, restaurants, stores, makers and artists all around Marblehead. It’s a great way to get out and enjoy Spring with the whole family. Since 1987, this annual event has entertained guests with music, 100+ craft and fiber artists, demonstrations of traditional shearing and herding dogs, and historic re-enactors on the beautiful grounds of this historic, 50-acre estate. People often tell us that spring doesn't begin until the Sheepshearing Festival! According to Director of Farm and Landscape Operations, Scott Clarke, "We're bringing back our visitors' Festival favorites, like seeing traditional shearing techniques and dog herding demonstrations, and simply enjoying a great time outdoors with family and friends."
