Join us for the 2nd Annual Griffin’s Gift Run/Walk on the evening of July 3rd to celebrate the late Griffin Lamar’s 4th birthday with a FUN, family friendly, timed 3.5 mile run or non-timed 1 mile walk. Custom event shirts for pre-registered participants, age group awards, a BBQ and more!! This event is in conjunction with Griffin's Gift Family Field Day, and is a fundraiser for the Griffin's Gift Fund.
This year’s IN-PERSON walk will take place on Sunday, June 26, 2022. This 1 or 2 mile or 5K non-competitive Walk will take us virtually through beautiful Endicott Park and Glen Magna Farms or wherever you are walking and end with a family picnic and celebration. We are giving away lots of prizes before, during, and even after the Walk, so watch our social media pages for the fun!

The Perseid meteor show is an annual astronomy event that happens on Earth between mid- July and late August. In 2023, the Perseids will be peaking on August 13th, with the best viewing being August 12-14! Many meteors will be visible in the night sky as Earth passes through the debris trail left by the passage of comet Sift-Tuttle.
Come join the fun at Halibut Point State Park when the Gloucester Area Astronomy Club brings their powerful telescopes to view stars, galaxies, and planets! Join Historic Beverly for a walking tour of Fish Flake Hill Historic District! The historic structures of the oldest area of the city, Fish Flake Hill, are the sites of the town’s revolutionary and early maritime industries, and home to many of Beverly’s merchants and sea captains. This area was also the town’s primary business district into the mid-19th century.
Paddle the quiet waters of the Powow and enjoy the late summer evening air! On this date an afternoon moonrise will progress to 74% of full Harvest Moon illumination at 8:46 PM. Shine on!! This provides the optimum opportunity for a beautiful moonlit paddle along the shores of the Powwow Conservation Area on scenic Lake Gardner. Starting at the recently refurbished Lake Gardner Beach, we will leisurely paddle from the placid waters of the lake into the quiet canopy of the Powow River and back.
