Please join us as we bid farewell to a year packed full of gatherings for one final hurrah on December 31st at the Cape Ann YMCA, 6:30-8:30pm. Expect dazzling lights, warm beverages, delicious sweets, exciting music, and a community countdown to 2024! This event is family friendly and FREE - we invite all to come out and toast a great year!
The Boston Harbor Now Sculpture Stroll is coming back to Revere. Hosted by the Revere Beach Partnership and Next Stop Revere, join us for a “Winter Wonderland” as we bring ice sculptures to Revere Beach! On December 31st, beginning at 10 am, guests are encouraged to stroll along Revere Beach and Waterfront Square at their leisure to view these fantastic works of art.
Cape Ann Art Haven has a great selection of art focused morning workshops during Winter Vacation for kids on break! Kids can take part in morning sessions, afternoon sessions or stay for a full day!
Families are invited to the library to come make their own gingerbread house out of graham crackers. Design your own candy wonderland! Registration is required.
You may have seen Finding Nemo before, but have you seen it on the big screen? Come enjoy our theater-like screen and sound system as we view this Disney classic. Feel free to bring a pillow and blanket to get comfortable!
With the holidays quickly approaching, we'll be wrapping gifts! Stop by the library, listen to some relaxing music, and wrap gifts with us. Drop in any time between 3:30-4:45. Fro Tweens and Teens in Grades 5-12.
Brian Doser, The Music Man will entertain both young and old at the Magnolia Library and Community Center. This pop up show will include dancing, singing, live music and holiday cheer!
Come enjoy a hike at the Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary in Topsfield, one of Mass Audubon's largest sanctuaries. Make lanterns that will light the way for our evening hike as we look and listen for local owls and other nighttime wildlife. Spend time warming up around the campfire as you roast marshmallows and make smores, learn about winter adaptations, and watch the moon rise. Two Sessions: 2-3:30 or 4-5:30
Come explore what nature has in store at some of our most amazing wild places on the north shore with Joppa Flats Education Center . Our engaging and experienced staff will introduce families to local beaches, forests, and wetlands to make observations in nature, identify wildlife, and enjoy hands on science activities outdoors.
