'More Than a Number' Family Day

Family Day at the Lynn Museum offers family events and free museum admission!

Lynn Museum and Historical Society invites you to day of family activities and events!  Enjoy dance performances, art and crafts, cooking demos and story telling in addition to FREE museum admission! Visitors are encouraged to see latest exhibition 'More Than a Number: Stories from Lynn', that tells the story of Lynn community members who escaped Cambodia and the horror of Khmer Rouge regime. This exhibit will close at the end of Family Day, so see it while you can!

Come see how baseball used to be played (circa 1860s) at Spencer Pierce Farm

It’s Base Ball, 1861 style at Spencer Peirce Little Farm! Teams playing today are The Newburyport Clamdiggers, Lynn Live Oaks, and Lowell Base Ball Club. These fun, historically accurate games feature underhand pitching and no gloves are allowed. A ball bounced once and caught is an out! Snacks, baseballs, and cards are available for purchase. Come and see for yourself how this game was played in the 1860's!

Notre Dame Children's Class Annual Yard Sale a charity fundraiser in Wenham.

Notre Dame Children's Class will hold its huge annual YARD SALE on Saturday October 13, 2012 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the school, located at 74 Grapevine Road in Wenham, Massachusetts. The Sale is free, handicapped accessible, and will take place rain or shine. All sales will be final.

6th Annual Tattersall Farm Day, a New England Style Agricultural Family Event

Enjoy a New England-style cultural and educational event for all ages. The 6th Annual Tattersall Farm Day, is poised to be the biggest yet with over a thousand people visiting the farm. Visitors will enjoy crafts and demonstrations from local vendors and experts, a petting zoo, hay rides, tethered hot air balloon rides, live music, barbeque, homemade ice cream and other refreshments. Balloon rides and a couple of other events require an additional fee.

This farm day is certain to be an enjoyable family oriented event! A good opportunity for great family photographs. Be sure to bring your camera and video camera.
