Harold Parker State Forest
Harold Parker State Forest, which lies in Andover, North Andover, North Reading and Middleton, comprises just over 3,000 acres of Central Hardwood-Hemlock-White Pine type of forest. The forest is twenty miles north of Boston and within one hour's drive of three million people. Recreational opportunities include hiking, mountain biking, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, camping and picnicking.
Solomon Jacobs Park
This park centrally located in the City of Gloucester's waterfront, home to the Fitz Henry Lane House and includes the Solomon Jacobs Public Landing which is directly adjacent to the US Coast Guard - Gloucester on Harbor Loop in Goucester, Ma. The park offers a beautiful hillside park overlooking Gloucester Harbor - a perfect spot for a picnic lunch!
Fitz Henry Lane House
The Fitz Henry Lane House is a historic house at 8 Harbor Loop Road, in Solomon Jacobs Park, on the harbor side of Rogers Street in Gloucester, Massachusetts. The three story stone Gothic Revival building was designed and built in 1849 by the artist Fitz Henry Lane, an American painter and printmaker of a style that would later be called Luminism, and was his home until his death in 1865.
Castle Hill on the Crane Estate
This 165 acre seaside estate is host to many activities including jazz and reggae festivals and private functions. There is a wide sweeping lawn area that runs to the shoreline and a 'Great House' with tours offered during the summer.
Atkinson Common
Also accessible via High and Mosley Streets. Some of the great features of this park are the tennis courts and baseball diamonds, the stone tower and the dual ponds.

Hamlin Reservation
This former coastal farmland now welcomes visitors to a broad salt marsh and a dike path that leads to a loop trail around Eagle Island. If you visit during hunting season, please make sure that you wear bright colors and a bell! Hunting is permitted on this site during the Fall.
