Yoga for Teen Athletes and Students - a four week series with Erin McKay to support core strength, balance, and flexibility. This four week series is perfect for the teen who is in between fall and winter sports or for the teen who is looking to add a new component to his or her workout. Drop in to any of the four classes, or sign up in advance for all four weeks.

Come and decorate your very own Gingerbread House just in time for the holidays. This fun, family friendly workshop includes everything you'll need to decorate your house. As an added bonus, Gloria Parsons will be there every step of the way.

Cape Ann YMCA Monster Bash
Come party with Cape Ann YMCA! This fun family friendly Halloween event will have kids dancing, playing games,creating crafts and walking the haunted hallway! Kids must be accomponied by an adult. This is a family event. Parents are required to attend. They are welcome to dress up as well. Registration is required.
Halloween Festival in Gloucester
The City of Gloucester, Mayor Sefatia Romeo Theken and Friends are hosting a Halloween Festival at Gloucester City Hall. Families and kids are invited for children's activities including: hayrides, a haunted house, face painting, jewelry making, storytelling, food and FUN!
Community Baby Shower at Sawyer Free
Cape Ann YMCA is hosting a free Community Baby Shower for expectant parents and new parents with infants 0-6 months old. Join us for a fun and informational event that will include infant CPR demonstrations, refreshments, games, prizes and raffles, and information about community resources. This free event is sponsored by Sawyer Free Library, Pathways, Gloucester's Department of Public Health, The Open Door, and the YMCA.
Cape Ann Businesswomen's Fall Luncheon
This year, the Cape Ann Businesswomen's Luncheon is proud to host Keynote speaker Lindsay Crouse. Lindsay is an award-winning veteran of stage and screen. Her credentials spans a whole range of venues from broadway, to TV to Hollywood. Some of Lindsay’s best known films include All The President’s Men, Slapshot, House of Games, The Verdict, The Insider, Mr. Brooks, Indian in the Cupboard, Prince of the City, Daniel, and Places in the Heart, for which she received an Academy Award nomination.
Historic Ice House Tours
Chill with the coolest guys in town! Enjoy a cool visit to Cape Pond Ice Company, icing Gloucester's fleet since 1848. We were featured in Sebastian Junger's account of The Perfect Storm. Tours highlight the history of the ice industry, with vintage film of natural ice harvests. See first hand 300-pound block ice being made (up to 350 tons per day), fishing vessels taking on ice and ice sculptures being carved in our historic icehouse on Gloucester's working waterfront. Astronomy and Stargazing on Cape Ann
The Gloucester Area Astronomy Club invites you to their monthly meeting to discover the wonder of the night sky on Cape Ann! There will still be a lot of astronomy going on! Stargazing will usually foolow the monthly meeting, which usually includes an astronomy presentation, and sometimes a special guest. There is plenty of free parking, no dues or fees, and all are welcome. No special knowledge is required to have a great time.
Danvers Kiwanis Rubber Duck Race
The 26th Annual “Rubber Duck Race” hosted by the Danvers Kiwanis raises money that benefits scholarship funds for local college students. THE RACE is rain or shine, and hundreds of Rubber Ducks will be dumped into the Porter River adjacent to Popes Landing. The drama escalates, competition has begun. As the lead duck streaks towards the finish line, “Who will be the WINNER?” Join us for pre-race family-fun festivities starting at 9:00 am.
