Join Family Promise North Shore Boston at our annual Walk to End Homelessness. This will be our 11th Annual Walk to End Homelessness and we hope to make it our LARGEST yet! Digging up the Past at the John Balch House

Become an archaeologist at the historic John Balch house in Beverly Massachusetts

Have you heard the expression, “one person’s trash is another person’s treasure”? Become an archaeologist at the historic John Balch house with this program focusing on excavations performed at the house in 1998. Examine a selection of objects found during the dig, find out about what they were used for and when they were using it, then get your hands dirty by digging in a makeshift pit yourself! Tours of the house are offered throughout the day.

Landmark 5k Road Race and Kids Fun Run

Landmark School's annual 5K Road Race is a family fun event that helps support the mission of Landmark School.

Landmark School's 5K Road Race and Kids 1K Fun Run are part of their Homecoming & Fall Festival. It is one of the largest events of the academic year, bringing together students, parents, alumni, faculty, friends, and members of the broader North Shore community. This event is also part of the Landmark Cares fundraiser, which helps students who have dyslexia reach their full potential.

HeartSaver CPR & First Aid Training with BevRec

First Aid, CPR or AED Certified in this workshop with the Beverly Recreation Department

Longtime instructors, Greater Boston Safety Training will lead this one day class (4 hours). This course is designed for Teachers, Coaches, Babysitters, Construction workers, and the general public. This classroom course includes essential information and training in the first-aid skills recommended by OSHA as well as CPR and AED certification training - all in a format that can be delivered in a single day. The course is modular to meet the needs of a specific workplace or group of employees. The core module comprises general principles, medical emergencies and injury emergencies.
