Pan-Ipswich Challenge

The Pan-Ipswich Challenge traverses Ipswich by trail and raises funds for ECTA

The ECTA Pan Ipswich Challenge is a ~20 mile walk or run fundraiser from the west end of Ipswich (Hood Pond) to the coast (Steep Hill Beach) that will highlight some of the best trails and open lands on the North Shore! Participants are encouraged to raise a minimum of $100 through pledges with the proceeds going to the ECTA.

When: 
May 5, 2012 8am for walkers
May 5, 2012 10:30 am for runners

In every kind of weather, our favorite thing is to head outdoors to our spectacular local habitats! Join Joppa Flats Education Center on a nature exploration that will focus on the importance of a sense of place as we explore the ecology, sights, and sounds of our natural landscape. Wildlife, local and migrating birds, collecting techniques, and environmental awareness will be presented in a fun, energetic format that adults and children alike will enjoy. This session will focus on the pond habitat, and it's importance in the ecosystem.
