The Merrimack Valley Ship Model club will exhibit a wide range and variety of ship models displaying tiny miniatures, and modest rowing craft in contrast with ocean going vessels. MVSMC members will be at the exhibit demonstrating modeling techniques and sharing back ground stories about the models on display.
Hundreds of models ships of all types will be on display in downtown Peabody! There will be all types, made from wood, plastic paper and miscellaneous media and created by hobbyists and professionals from the Greater Boston area. Many of these models are incredibly detailed works of art worthy of museum display. Come see these wonderful pieces and meet the people who make them! You'll learn about their skills and hear some great stories, and its a great time for all visitors. Please use the side entrance to the building.
Train and model railroad enthusiasts won’t want to miss Wenham Museum’s 22nd Annual Model Railroad and Toy Hobby Show featuring many dealer tables where you can buy, swap and sell everything from equipment and memorabilia to toys, books, and photographs.
