This family-friendly event gives 100% of race proceeds and donations to Mass General Cancer Center for Thoracic Cancer Research under the direction of Dr. Justin Gainor. MGH is deeply committed to rapidly bringing advances to their patients and is making remarkable progress in identifying genetic mutations and developing targeted therapies for lung cancer. Your participation will help make a difference in the lives of patients today and it is with much optimism that one day lung cancer will be a treatable disease and no longer fatal.

All you have to do is place your donation of non-perishable food items next to your mailbox prior to mail delivery on Saturday, May 10. Dedicated letter carriers will collect these generous donations as they carry out their postal routes, ensuring that the food reaches local food banks, pantries, shelters, and churches where it will make a difference in the lives of those in need. Join us in this collective effort to combat hunger and provide support to our community.
The Interact Club at Gloucester High School will be holding their annual pizza taste off at Cruiseport Gloucester! Come try different pizza from around Cape Ann, while helping to raise funds for the American Cancer Society! Taste them all for yourself and vote for the best! Only 300 tickets sold and will be available at the door. All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
Emma Andrews Library and Community Center invites you to the library for a bowl of hot soup on a Winter afternoon! Come enjoy the library, share some great food and leave knowing that the price of your meal will go to fund 2025 Emma in the Backyard Summer Programs. Enjoy a bowl of tasty soup, bread and homemade desserts made by Emma volunteers.
Help paint a bowl to be auctioned at The Open Door's annual fundraiser!! All supplies are provided. Spaces are limited and registration is required. This program is intended for adults, teens and children (ages 8 and older.) Children aged 7 and younger may register and participate with a caretaker's assistance.
