The Middle School Night Program, sponsored by The Community House, purpose is to provide an outlet for middle school aged youth to enjoy safe and supervised social activities. Each event has a theme along with interactive dances and games featuring a local DJ. Concessions are available at every event.
Sparky's puppets is entertaining for preschool on up! In this adventure, a scientist builds a time machine and sets the dial for the past... and then the future! What will he discover? All told with handmade puppets and involving three tales this will be a hit with the whole familiy! Made possible by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.

Danvers Rec invites kids to a full day of LEGO fun! In the morning there will be a LEGO engineering workshop, followed by a MineCraft LEGO workshop in the afternoon. These worskshops are geared toward kids in grades 1-6. Sign up for one or both!

Escape the hearts and join us for an afternoon of skiing or snowshoeing (or hiking if no snow) through Ravenswood's carriage paths of rolling hills and dales. the Friends of the Sawyer Free Library are providing an opportunity for everyone to trade in their unused fabrics and yarn. Bring them into the library and then join us on for a sale of the donated fabric and fiber. All profits go to support SFL programs and projects. Special: fest guests and hourly drawings.
Children in grades 3-5 are invited to our monthly, interactive, afterschool science club. The Science Explorers program will be structured around a science topic and easy experiments using everyday materials. Open to grades 3 and up.
Groundhog Day is just a few days away, and we have planned a special walk. We will learn all about these true hibernators, and then we will head out to the fields in search of groundhog holes. Learn some songs and create a groundhog mask to take home.
