The Peabody Memorial Day Parade will begin at 11 a.m. at Washington Street and Allens Lane. The route heads east on Washington Street, then west on Main Street to City Hall. Washington, Main, and parts of Lowell Street will be closed to traffic.
After the parade, a ceremony at City Hall will honor fallen heroes, with 25 Medals of Fidelity awarded to families of veterans who died from Agent Orange, Camp Lejeune water contamination, PTSD, and radiation exposure.
