Come and explore what Moraine Farm has to offer in our Waldorf nursery and kindergarten programs. Join our Early Childhood teachers on an outdoor exploration of our nursery and kindergarten on Saturday, June 1, from 10:00 to 11:30 am.
The Moraine Farm campus offers countless nature exploration and learning experiences for the young child. The nursery and kindergarten children are immersed in the wonder of the natural world for 2 to 3 hours per day in all seasons. This outdoor open house will begin in the nursery play yard with a circle, then we will explore the field and forest. This outdoor open house provides interested families a glimpse into the joy, wonder and health giving qualities of nature based education.
Please come prepare to join us with walking shoes or hiking books, water bottles, and proper protective clothing. Babies in baby-carriers are recommended rather than strollers as the trails can be tricky to maneuver.
